4500 MHD XORG DRIVER

As a side note, the Blender site notes a bug in the Vista driver for the GM45 graphics and I have experienced it. Is there a way to install a driver from another linux distribution?.. Maybe it is just facing me straight, and I just cant figure out how to go about it. I have a 30" apple cinema display. Table may be out of date.

I had this problem with CentOS and it was due to the graphics card driver.

And I wonder if Jaunty could say: Can you tell me if you have installed another driver than the default? I took a xorb look and voila: Can't compile the latest version, dont know why.

I'll take a look at that. For me turning off the desktop effects Compiz helped a lot, especially for Google Earth.

Sorry, I have no clue about raid, haven't used raided disks since the late nineties I see random pixels on the display when the computer boots up just garbage. Is a plugged extern monitor still flickering? I actually run kernel 2. Yeah, sorry i guess i forgot to mention that mine was with compiz on to Well, I upgraded to 9.

OK xorb, please be patient with me.

I can't mhv get the intel drivers to work - I'm stuck on vesa. Ubuntu actually made me appreciate Windows XP a lot! I'm short of time.

The Intel driver is under heavy reconstruction as far as I heard. So, any link or any idea is welcome.

Intel GMA 4500MHD, Ubuntu 11.04

I've got an E with the Intel MHD and it works perfectly in Jaunty, until I plug my laptop into the dock and go to my two x displays. As long as it lives ; I also have the damned mhd No Compiz needed, w00t! In the next release of Ubuntu, they will have the 4050. The Intel graphics driver in X.

I thought Ubuntu 9. Xvideo or xv is the xorg way of displaying vidoes and do fast scaling to fullscreen output and stuff However the textured video adaptor for Xv is still available BUT it's broken. This may matter if you like games and compiz desktop effects, or if you want Google Earth to display in better than geological time. Also, I tried the xorg.

It complains that something is not right with the display but when I choose "fail safe" option, it works. 4050 was with their 2. They turned me down completely, so many annoying problems, the computer freezes for no reason, the resolution is never right, When it comes to the immediate future, I'm currently running mesa 7.

Though I'm not fanatical about games, I'd love to get this working: In your log, you had an xorg. Perhaps someone is interested in starting up something like that?
