LENOVO X61 SCREEN ROTATION DRIVER

You may have to send it in to Lenovo to get it fixed. X61T last edited This whole issue may have a silver lining though, as I was going through the PC Doctor diagnostic, it found an issue with my hard drive, which I had been unaware of, supposedly Lenovo is going to repair that as well. I can bring my laptop into a service center, as i still have almost a full year warranty remaining, but I am afraid this is more of a defect in the Lenovo x61 tablet line rather then a simple warranty repair. Did this solve your problem? This site in other languages x. Any input on the matter will be greatly appreciated.

Unfortunately, your solution doesn't seem to be working on my box. Primarily this is known here as the "flickering" or "horizontal line" issue, some owners have come up with temporary solutions of applying pressure on the screen bezel near the hinge to clear it up.

I found "Screen rotate driver" option in "Optional updates" tab.

Anyway, the bottom line with the scrambled screen is send it in and Lenovo will fix it for you and ship it back to you with very little delay.

The condition seems to scdeen when the laptop is charging but neverless is still a mess when on battery. No registered users and 5 guests. I have rotagion a temporary solution - instead of turning the screen around when it's open to convert the laptop into a tablet I push the screen down flat in the position that it is in laptop mode and then rotate it - when i do it this way the screen does not flicker and remains stable.

At first I thought maybe the problem was a Windows video driver problem but the problem exists outside of windows - even at boot time the screen is scrambled if in tablet mode.
